A.T.F.I.
is a recognized national association of the International Taekwon-Do Federation
(I.T.F.) of the United States. The I.T.F. is
headed by Grand Master Tran Trieu Quan, 9th Degree Black Belt. On November 24, 2001 in Toronto,
Canada, Master Nunez and Mr. John Cacioli, of Connecticut, met with the
founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi. At this historic and memorable meeting,
the American Taekwon-Do Federation International became a reality. Master
Nunez and Mr. Cacioli were invited to the home of General Choi to discuss
the plans, future and the goals of the A.T.F.I. General Choi not only
expressed his interest and excitement for the A.T.F.I. but also gave his
blessing and approval of the newly formed organization.
The goal of the A.T.F.I. is to practice, teach and promote the original
art of Taekwon-Do across the United States making the U.S.A. the heartbeat
of Taekwon-Do in the world.
